What are your thoughts about how the Jamaica Urban Transit Company has been illegally using money taken from its employees to operate the company?

Good grief! When will it ever stop in this country? Have we just resigned ourselves to being high on the list of corrupt countries? Is it really true that this nation has lost its soul?

- Teddy Discipler Jones

Simple! Just give the worker a share of the profit as bonuses; after all, it's their money.

- Damien Card

The company directors should go to jail! It's a criminal act for private companies - the same rules should apply to publicly owned companies!

- Audley A. McCarthy

The money was illegally taken, so clearly there is an ethics problem. Restitution: reimburse the staff members fully and with maximum interest. Employees are your workers, not your bank. This behaviour cannot be embraced. It is actually disgraceful, coming from a government-led company.

- Joan Gordon-Tibby

Well, you all have good view of the abuse of hard-working people. What is the Government going to do about this criminal, offensive action? Should some of these people be in jail for stealing? After all, it is stealing.

It's full time. Too many people are getting away with this sort of cheating poor people. It's time for an example to be set. Stop it now!

Do you agree with JLP MP Everald Warmington that the pension benefits of retired governors general and prime ministers should be revised?

They should get the same pension rate as other civil servants. The rules should apply right across the board.

- @bigclaude

I disagree with MP Warmington, as this is standard practice for past leaders of state and a way to honour the office of service.

- @HONEYBEARJA

I tell you, we need more Warmingtons in politics.
